Minister of Justice, Malami has just issued a statement explaining that the discharge order from Appeal court does not affect the prior trial of treason which was ongoing before Kanu jumped bail and ran away from Nigeria in 2018.
Also, the AGF says he’ll explore all avenues to see that Nnamdi Kanu goes to jail.
This implies a possible appeal to the Supreme Court
